After 4 years of running a thriving mobile IV therapy company, business partners and firemen Landon Flack and Jameson Bangerter sat down to talk through their story, their driving motivations, and the unique service that is IV therapy.
The pair met when they were assigned as paramedic partners on an ambulance and remained friends as their careers progressed, taking them separate ways. They had always talked about starting a business and quickly saw a need for alternative forms of healthcare during their time as paramedics. Co-owner Jameson recalls, “When we were coming up with the idea of the company, we didn’t want to sell a product, we wanted to find a service that could help people.” When they heard of another group of paramedics offering IV therapy in Arizona, they knew that was exactly what they wanted to do.
IV Therapy quickly took off, gaining popularity much faster than the two could have predicted. Landon recounts, “I just remember kinda saying a little prayer, ‘I hope we can do 1 or 2 treatments this first week’. And I think we ended up doing 15”. From there, their success grew and was only made exponential by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To add to the rapidly spreading popularity of IV therapy, Landon shares about the role celebrities such as the Kardashians and others had in showing the value of IVs as a mobile service as he attributes part of this awareness to “influential individuals across the country, speaking truth of their experience with IV therapy”.
Jameson adds that he feels it was “the convenience” that sold a lot of people as well. When Drp IV first opened as Drip IV Utah, Jameson personally organized a treatment for a father of little children dealing with food poisoning who wouldn’t have been able to leave his kids to go to the hospital for an IV. This is just one of the many stories the duo reminisce on. The company continues to treat those in similar situations and has expanded their offerings as well as service area.
Speaking to what’s next for Drp IV, Landon hinted at an upcoming service. “We’ve got a lot of awesome endeavors that are coming down the pipeline right now. The one that we’re very excited about is creating custom IV packages to individual’s needs to our client’s specific needs and that’s coming directly from one of our new partnerships… BioReach, which is a new blood lab company here in Utah. They’re doing awesome things”. Stay tuned to try out Drp IV’s blood lab service as soon as it’s live.
Jameson also gave some insights on what’s next for Drp IV alluding to some expansion plans. “Our New [medial] control is licensed in 6 different states… so we hope to utilize her for expansion purposes and grow not only in Utah but outside of Utah into other states across the country”. In the past couple months, there have been hints that Idaho is next for Drp IV, but it sounds like they aren’t stopping there.
As the Drp IV community grows and expands, both of the guys were very clear about one thing. They want to hear from Drp IV patients. They expressed their desire to continually improve and hear the stories from those who IV therapy has helped. Landon and Jameson are both reachable through Drp IV’s social platforms, their website, or their personal LinkedIn pages.
At Drp IV, formerly Drip IV Utah, we don’t just offer IV therapy – we also provide a range of IM shots designed to give you a quick and easy boost of nutrients. But what exactly are IM shots, and how do they work? IM stands for “intramuscular,” which means that the shots are injected directly into your muscle tissue. This allows your body to quickly absorb the nutrients, which can provide a range of benefits.
